Mona and Robert arrive at a Bluegrass farm for a private horse auction. While Robert attends the auction, Mona wanders the stables, where she discovers a groom striking an agitated horse with a riding crop. She immediately confronts the groom and grabs the horse's halter, ordering the man away.
